A React and Firebase MVP that helps managers turn expected demand, opening hours, roles, and uploaded CSV data into a clearer staffing plan for the day.

Problem

Small businesses can struggle to match staffing levels to changing demand, especially when planning around quiet days, busy periods, events, and role-specific cover.

Solution

ScheduleLoop gives managers a guided setup, demand-aware dashboard, role-level staffing view, CSV upload flow, backtesting, and labour-cost estimates in one system.

  • Firebase sign up, login, and user-specific business profile storage
  • Guided onboarding for business type, roles, opening hours, and staffing assumptions
  • Shape of Day forecasting with normal, quiet, busy, and event-style context

Used Car Price Prediction

The public script reads automotive CSV data, cleans it, explores price patterns, encodes categorical fields, and compares Linear Regression with a Random Forest regressor.

  • Cleans duplicates, missing numeric values, price outliers, mileage outliers, and invalid engine-size rows
  • Uses mileage, year, engine size, model, fuel type, transmission, tax, and mpg as features
  • Encodes model, transmission, and fuel type with OneHotEncoder

Process Scheduling Simulator

A Java and Python project that simulated process scheduling concepts including FCFS, Round Robin, and non-preemptive priority scheduling.

  • Implemented First Come First Served, Round Robin, and non-preemptive priority scheduling
  • Used process-control blocks and queues to represent scheduling state
  • Explored synchronization and thread coordination with wait/notify

I am a Computer Science student at the University of Surrey who enjoys learning by building. Most of my work sits somewhere between software engineering, product development, and data, whether that is developing ScheduleLoop, experimenting with machine-learning models, or working through lower-level systems problems.

Outside computing, I enjoy chess, basketball, travelling, and working on side projects that help me learn faster.
